Expert Mold Remediation Restores Safe Environments
to Prevent Future Health and Structural Problems

When buildings get wet, the mold spores that are always present in the air, indoors and out, land on wet surfaces and mold starts growing, creating a serious health hazard for building occupants.

Moisture problems are the result of three types of water intrusions:

  • Emergency water damage from floods, broken pipes, failed appliances, etc.
  • On-going and unnoticed leaks from pipes, roofs or around doors and windows.
  • Building design issues that cause high humidity levels that can support mold growth.

As a certified mold remediator with more than 25 years experience, A&J eliminates the source of mold by aiding in the correction of the water or moisture problem as part of the remediation process.

100% Guarantee

A&J’s mold remediation procedures follow all EPA and OSHA guidelines as well as the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), Restoration Industry Association (RIA) and other industry certification protocols.

There is always a certified supervisor or technician on every project and company President Kent Rawhouser is one of only 60 people* worldwide that has been certified as a Water Loss Specialist by the RIA. He is also one of only 25 people* that has earned the designation of CMP (Certified Mold Professional), also by the RIA.

Mold can be successfully remediated and buildings returned to a healthy state by a certified and experienced contractor. A&J has been doing just that on homes, as well as large commercial buildings for over 10 years.

The Proven A&J Process Finds and Remediates the Source of the Problem
Because mold is always caused by an attendant moisture or water problem, A&J will help determine the source of and aid in the correction of the water or moisture problem as part of the remediation process.

We start by setting up containment in the work area. By using negative air pressure and air scrubbers, occupants are protected and cross contamination is prevented.

The remediation process includes controlled demolition and safe disposal of contaminated materials, in-depth cleaning and sanitizing of the affected areas. A variety of other techniques appropriate to the project conditions may be required, such as dry ice blasting, sealing, air washing, encapsulation, etc.

Mold remediation may be done in conjunction with an Environmental Consultant or Certified Industrial Hygienist if desired.
